About Quinn
Quinn Engineering are designers, manufacturers and suppliers of short rise lifts, domestic passenger lifts and tractor mounted forklifts.
Our reputation has always been and remains based around the fact that we stand behind everything we make and we pride ourselves on being the most customer-responsive player on the field.
When we come up with a solution to a one-off problem, it will be fixed as a bespoke project. If it is a recurring problem, the solution is likely to become a Quinn product that can be replicated for the benefit of many.
Our History
Quinn Engineering began life as Quinn Baleboys. Eddie Quinn started the business in the early 1960s and his first product was not surprisingly a hay handling machine. It must have been pretty good because we are still producing a version of it in the 21st century.
Eddies son Alex came into the business in 1980 and bought Dad out in 1990. It became Quinn Engineering and has continued to grow and develop ever since.
In 2024 Mat Still (NZ Manufacturing) purchased Quinn to expand his current offerings from his workshop in Tauranga.
History is interesting and relevant if it has served to make a business better and stronger and the evidence is in for Quinn Engineering. From the very beginning, innovation and listening to the voice of our customers has been central.
60+ years and counting say that this remains the focus and whatever is next for us, it will always be about looking after our customers and community.
